Brand presence rises as new franchise owners enter alongside existing owners who are expanding their footprint to capitalize on more territories
The Woops! macaron franchise brand is taking hold all across the United States, thanks to a growth wave that sees expansion in new and existing marketplaces.
“Thanks to two vibrant sales models and a growing array of sales opportunities, we have reached a point in our evolution that is very exciting,” says Tal Avivi, co-founder. “Many new franchise owners are coming on board, and we also have current owners looking to add more kiosks to their territory or expand into a new area with kiosks or a bakeshop.”
Current owners eager for more
Many current Woops! franchise owners are opening a second, or even third, kiosk thanks to booming business at their original site. Those who began with a bakeshop also are seeing brisk business, and so are looking at kiosks alongside pop-up events, corporate sales and other outside gifting opportunities to build the brand even further in their markets.
“As Woops! grows, so do the ways that our products can be sold,” Avivi explains. “The kiosks, as well as the bakeshops, are showplaces for the macarons and other products. They are sales sites, to be certain, but they also provide the launching pad for Woops! franchise owners to take their business further into the community via online gifting sales, company events, and pop-up opportunities, just to name a few.”
New owners value scalability
One of the major selling points of owning a Woops! macaron franchise, other than a product that consumers can’t get enough of, is the ability to start with one kiosk and expand from there. Franchise owners can, and often do, add more kiosks to their territory or purchase additional territories for more kiosks or a bakeshop — and sometimes both.
“The whole point of having the different models was to give owners the flexibility to customize their Woops! business to their market,” Avivi says. “Some areas have many dense shopping areas and are perfect for kiosks. Others have smaller, outdoor-oriented marketplaces that are beautiful fits for a bakeshop. Either way, Woops! is finding success.”
