Woops! Franchise CambridgeSide Mall Expands Boston Presence
New location continues brand’s growth in major metropolitan areas alongside smaller communities as entrepreneurs latch onto this on-trend gifting concept

There are now four Woops! macaron franchise locations in the center the Boston area, proof that the concept continues to thrive in major metropolitan markets even as it spreads into smaller communities throughout the country.
Boston franchise owner grows presence
Owner Bruno Alves now has three Woops! macaron kiosk franchise locations and says that his growth is due to the reception he got with his earlier two locations.
“I am excited to continue introducing Woops! to the Greater Boston community, which has been welcoming and receptive to us,” says Alves, who previously held positions with Unilever and also was the CEO of Gallo Brazil, the largest olive-oil brand in that country, for 10 years. “Woops! is unlike anything in the area — it’s not just another chain, but a type of venue where locals can come and gather.”
Bakeshops and kiosks are popular destinations
The success in Boston is being mirrored all over the country because Woops! is more than a place to purchase high-quality baked goods, says Tal Avivi, Chief Design & Creative Officer.
“Whether it’s one of our beautiful mall kiosks or a colorful bakeshop model in the middle of a busy city block, Woops! draws interest because of its Instagrammable appearance,” Avivi says. “Then, once people sample our products, they are excited and eager to purchase gifts for family and friends in their community.”
