“Woops! macarons make the perfect just-because treat for oneself — or for gifting — and we’re seeing that reflected in our online sales,” says Gil Kiryati, CEO. “Often a first-time visitor to a kiosk, for example, purchases a few macarons to enjoy and then afterward realizes what a great gift they would make. Then they visit the online portal and make additional purchases for friends, family and coworkers.”
U.S. consumers are in the mood to spend on more luxury items. Retail and food service sales are up more than 5 percent over last year, as of July 2018, and Woops! offers a unique and authentic product, from our signature hand-produced macarons to our bakeshop pastries, coffees and teas, and sandwiches from around the world.

Once a consumer places an online order, the Woops! website directs them to their closest Woops! macaron franchise kiosk or bakeshop. The initial online sale can lead to an in-person sale as the customer is much more likely to visit their neighborhood Woops! franchise for the full Woops! experience.
“The online portal and the physical Woops! locations each feed business to the other,” Kiryati says. “When each is doing well, a steady stream of revenue is being generated alongside the growing awareness that a robust, successful online presence brings to the brand, and to all our franchise owners.”
Customers also can order specialized gift boxes and even stamped custom macarons for special occasions for local pick-up at their nearby kiosk or bakeshop.
Growing consumer base loves authentic food brands
Customers can have authentic macarons shipped from New York City in three days or less through the Woops! website. Millennials, who are on pace to outnumber Baby Boomers in 2019, seek convenience and authentic food brands, two areas where Woops! delivers.
